Founded in 1984 Greystones Language School invites students to participate in English language courses designed to cater for beginners, intermediate and higher levels.
Greystones Language School has centres in Greystones and Wicklow Town. While the primary aim of our courses is to provide top class tuition in the English language, we also ensure that students return home having had an enjoyable and cultural holiday in our country.
Students stay with carefully selected host families. Students benefit greatly from the cultural interaction between themselves and their new environment. Full participation in the life of the host family is expected.
Greystones Language School offers a wide range of services to schools and groups who wish to travel to Ireland on cultural visits. These trips typically range from four days to one or two weeks.
We offer a variety of different places and activities and you can choose whatever suits your particular class or group. We offer ideas and work with you to create an optimum experience for your students. . We are very flexible and are open to suggestions and ideas put forward by you.

Greystones:
Greystones “Na Clocha Liatha” is a coastal town and seaside resort. It has a population of 22,010. Originally it was a small fishing village, and although it has grown significantly over the years it has not lost its friendly and welcoming village atmosphere.
In 2008, Greystones was named as the world’s ‘most liveable community’ at the LivCom Awards in China. has a population of 22,010 (2022).
What is the town like
The cove and south beach have made Greystones an ideal holiday destination and the perfect place to relax, soak up some sun rays and have a swim in the Irish sea during summer.
The food scene in Greystones is vibrant, to say the least. You can check out popular places like ‘The Happy Pear’ or ‘The Hungry Monk’.
Greystones also has a lovely park where you can relax, take a coffee or play. There is a boules ring and chess tables available for public use.
Wikolw Town:
Wicklow Town (“Cill Mhantáin”) is the capital town of Co. Wicklow. Located south of Dublin on the east coast of the island, it has a population of 12,960 according to the 2022 census.
Who is the town?
Normans build the “Black Castle”, that now is use like a public park. Other notable buildings include the Town Hall and the Gaol, built in 1702 and recently renovated as a heritage centre and tourist attraction. The main street is a lovely haven of shops and restaurants where you will feel very welcome.
