Our specialised courses are designed to cater for adults, young adults and children who want to combine a fun filled cultural stay with an educational base.
Our typical course includesclass in the morning (classes have a maximum of 15 students) improving reading, writing and listening skills. Classes are structured so that students reach their potential in a fun and educational environment. Students participate in role-plays, English games, reading and listening exercises focusing on oral confidence All teachers are full-qualified (T.E.F.L teachers). The school provides all materials.
Students may also choose to have extra private tuition on a one to one basis with a teacher.
Students complete placement tests to assess their level of English.
Students will be taken on a half day excursion each week to a variety of historical and interesting places such as Glendalough, Bray Head, The Great Sugarloaf, Ziplining, Avoca Woollen Mills, ‘Meeting of the Waters’ and Powerscourt Gardens. Once a week the students also go on a full day excursion. These excursions combine site seeing and leisure time. Both Greystones and Wicklow Town are ideal locations for this programme due to its close proximity to Dublin and many other places of interest, such as Wexford, Kilkenny, Kildare, Drogheda and Waterford. Evening activities can be organised for the students such as discos, traditional Irish music and dancing.
Summer Course
Our summer courses run during the months of June, July and August for students aged between 11 and 17 years. Students stay with families and partake in Irish family life. They attend 3 hours of English classes every weekday morning and have a variety of activities in the afternoon. There is a half day excursion once a week and a full day excursion once a week. There is also a disco one night a week. Sunday is spent with the host family.
Mini-Stay Courses
Our mini-stay courses are organised for groups. Stays can be arranged of a flexible duration – typically from 5 to 10 days. We work with you to tailor a course combining English classes with activities and excursions of interest to your students.
Cultural Stays
We arrange cultural stays for groups. These are tailored specifically to your group and combine either English or historical discussions with excursions to sites of historical interest such as Newgrange, Glendalough, Wicklow Gaol, the National Heritage Park, Powerscourt, Mount Usher gardens and Dublin.
Academic Year or Term
This is a full immersion course. Students attend an Irish secondary or high school for an academic term or an academic year. They stay with a host family local to the school. Students are provided with the school uniform and books. The Irish education system is internationally renowned. Our students have an unparalleled opportunity to improve their fluency.
In Ireland students start school between the ages of 4 and 6. This means that there is up to a two year age difference in each school group. The minimum age is an absolute requirement and some schools even have an earlier date of birth as their cut off point for joining a particular year group.
For the 2025/2026 academic year in Ireland the students dates of birth will be as follows:
YEAR | DAY OF BIRTH |

1st Year | Summer 2011 to summer 2013 |
2nd Year | Summer 2010 to summer 2012 |
3rd Year | Summer 2009 to summer 2011 |
Transicion Year | Summer 2008 to summer 2010 |
